It replaces the original shock using the stock springs and mounting points, and is valved specifically for this application to control body roll, sway and wheel hop on a heavy motorhome or van chassis.

B6 shocks use a 46mm monotube body with a velocity-sensitive digressive piston, so damping stays consistent on long grades and rough roads instead of fading as the oil heats up. Worn shocks are one of the most common causes of wander and porpoising in a coach or Class C; replacing them in axle pairs restores a planted, controlled ride.

Specifications

Brand: Bilstein

Part number: 24-184670

Series: B6

Type: Shocks / Struts

Position: Rear

Application notes: GVWR: up to and over 8,300lbs

Fits: Dodge B100 1975-1980, B100 Van 1971-1974, B150 1981-1994, B200 1975-1980, B200 Van 1971-1974, B250 1981-1994, B300 1975-1980, B300 Van 1971-1974, B350 1981-1994, B1500 1995-1998, B2500 1995-1998, B3500 1995-1998, Ram 1500 Van 1999-2003, Ram 2500 Van 1999-2003, Ram 3500 Van 1999-2003

Shipping weight: 4.63 lb

Country of origin: Germany

Sold as: Each (one unit)

UPC: 651860611563

Check your fit: pick your make, chassis and year in the Bilstein Shock Fitment Finder to confirm this part and see the matching shocks for the other axle.

Shocks and stabilizers are application-specific: confirm your chassis, model year and the notes above before ordering.
