The body protection side bar runs along the lower side of a Black Series HQ Series camper and takes the hits from rocks, branches, and debris thrown up on narrow tracks so the body panels do not have to. It is finished in red to match the HQ styling. Owners replace a bar after a hard strike has bent or gouged it, when the mounts have worked loose enough to elongate their holes, or when rust has started under damaged paint. Direct factory replacement.

Installation and care
The bar is heavy; have a second person support it while you start the bolts. Fit to the existing chassis mounting points with fasteners of the original grade, torque them evenly, and re-check after the first rough trip. Touch up chips in the finish promptly so rust cannot creep under the coating, and rinse off mud and salt after wet trips.
