The external storage door lock is the small latch that keeps a compartment door shut on Black Series HQ Series campers, and it takes a beating from vibration on corrugated roads. When the cam wears, the key no longer turns, or the lock body cracks, the door starts rattling open and gear gets covered in dust. This is the genuine Black Series replacement, offered with or without a key and in the two versions used on the HQ Series compartments.

Installation and care
Note which way the cam points before removing the old lock so the new one latches in the same direction. Fit the lock, tighten the retaining nut snugly, and check that the door closes against its seal without forcing. A puff of dry graphite or a dry-film lubricant in the cylinder once a season keeps the key turning after dusty trips.
