This upgraded external kitchen burner, model GR-587, is a higher-output replacement for the standard stove in the Black Series HQ Series slide-out kitchen. The stronger flame brings a pot to the boil and sears faster than the factory unit, which matters when you are cooking for a group at camp. It is stainless steel, so it stands up to weather and cleans easily. Owners fit it when the original burner is tired, when the igniter has failed, or simply because they want more heat outdoors. Direct OEM-compatible replacement for the HQ Series external kitchen.

Installation and care
Connect to the camper's gas quick-connect and leak-test every joint with soapy water before lighting; if you are not confident with gas fittings, have a technician do the hookup. Keep the burner ports clear of grease, and clean the drip tray after each trip. After a bottle change, expect to hold the igniter slightly longer to purge air from the line.
