The center cap that fits over the hub on the alloy wheels of a Black Series HQ camper. It keeps dust, grit, and water away from the hub and bearing assembly and finishes the look of the wheel. Caps go missing on corrugated roads, crack when a tire is changed in a hurry, or get scuffed against rocks on a tight track, and a missing cap lets fine dust straight into the area around the bearing.

What you get
Black alloy wheel hub cap, supplied as pictured.
Installation and care
Clean the hub recess, then press the cap on evenly by hand or with a rubber mallet through a cloth; never hammer directly on the alloy. Pop it off gently with a plastic trim tool rather than a screwdriver, which chips the edge. Take the caps off at bearing service time and look for grease weeping out of the hub, which points to a failed hub seal. A quick wipe when you wash the wheels keeps them looking right.
