The single manual entrance step is the fixed aluminum step that bolts below the entry door on Black Series HQ Series campers. It gives a stable, weight-bearing foothold on the way in and out, and it is the version fitted where the door sits low enough that one step is all you need. Owners replace it after it is bent on a rock or a ramp, when the tread is worn smooth, or when corrosion at the mounting has set in. Black Series part number EXT21.

Installation and care
The step bolts to the existing mounting points below the door; use fasteners of the same grade as the originals and torque them evenly. Because the step hangs low, check the bolts after any trip on corrugated roads. Aluminum resists corrosion, but rinsing off mud and salt keeps the tread grippy and the finish intact.
