It takes 12-30V in (50A max) from the battery and sends up to 42V, 13A to the power station's DC input.

It reads the input voltage and only switches on above a starting voltage you set with a knob, so it charges while the engine runs and stops before it drains the starting battery. It has short-circuit, over-voltage, under-voltage and overheating protection, fan cooling, and comes with an XT90 input cable of about 16 ft (5 m).

Specifications

Input: 12-30V DC, 50A max (12V and 24V systems), XT90

Output: 42V, 13A max, up to 500W

Fuse: 100A

Start voltage: adjustable, 6 levels from 12V/24V to 14V/28V

Standby draw: about 0.1 mA off, 260 mA on with no load

Operating temperature: 14°F to 131°F (-10°C to 55°C)

Protection: short-circuit, over-voltage, under-voltage, overheating

Dimensions: 7.6 x 3.5 x 2 in (193 x 90 x 52 mm)

In the box: DC1242-500, input cable (about 5 m), mini screwdriver, user manual

Pecron model: DC1242-500

Genuine Pecron with Pecron's warranty.
