The trim ring covers existing screw holes and fits the unit into the cutout of a previous alarm. An alarm mute button silences it while you ventilate, and the rapid-recovery sensor resets or re-alarms if dangerous gas is still present.

It runs on 12 V, so there are no batteries to replace. It is built for the RV environment and suits Class A, B and C motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, truck and folding campers.

Specifications

Detects: carbon monoxide and propane / LP gas

In the kit: alarm with trim ring and solenoid valve

Standard: conforms to UL 2034 RV and UL 1484 RV; meets RVIA/NFPA requirements

Power: 12 V DC hard wire (no batteries to replace)

Current draw: 108 mA @ 12 V DC (alarm)

Operating range: 12 V DC +/-15%, low-voltage warning

Operating temperature: -40°F to +158°F

Size with trim ring: 7 x 4 x 1.25 in

Cutout size: 3.25 x 2.5 in

Mounting: flush mount with trim ring

Color: Black

Warranty: 1-year limited, from date of purchase

Made in: USA

MTI part number: 25-742-R-BL-TR-KIT

Genuine Safe-T-Alert by MTI Industries, made in the USA with MTI's 1-year limited warranty.
