The Victron Battery Balancer equalizes the charge voltage across two series-connected 12V batteries in a 24V system, or across the two halves of a 48V bank. When one battery in a series string charges to a higher voltage than the other, the balancer draws current from the higher one to even them out, which helps prevent premature failure caused by chronic imbalance.
By keeping cells or blocks in balance, it extends overall battery life and improves reliability in larger banks. It is a simple, worthwhile addition to RV, marine, and off-grid systems that run batteries in series. In stock and shipping from Upland, California.
