It charges by constant current, then constant voltage, and shuts off automatically at 14.6V; Ionic's spec lists its charge current as 18A.

Ionic quotes about 3 hours for a 12V 50Ah battery, 5 to 6 hours for 100Ah and 8 hours for 150Ah. It can wake a lithium battery that has dropped into BMS low-voltage lockout, and several units can be wired in parallel for more current on a big bank.

Specifications

Output voltage: 12V

Charge current: 18A (Ionic spec)

Charge voltage: 14.6V, automatic shutoff

Charging mode: Constant current, constant voltage (CCCV)

AC input: 110V, 60Hz

Compatible chemistry: LiFePO4, lead-acid

Charge time (Ionic figures): 12V 50Ah about 3 hr; 12V 100Ah about 5-6 hr; 12V 150Ah about 8 hr

LED status: LED 1 red = power on; LED 2 red = charging, green = fully charged

Safety timeout: Stops after 72 hours of continuous charging (blinking red LEDs); disconnect and reconnect power to restart

Cooling: Passive

Bluetooth: No

Weight: 3.1 lb

Dimensions (L x W x H): 12 x 5 x 5 in

Features

Deep-discharge recovery: can wake batteries that have dropped to BMS lockout

Charges one 12V battery or 12V batteries connected in parallel

Multiple units can be wired in parallel for more combined current

Genuine Ionic with Ionic's warranty.
