The question people usually mean is "can I twist the panel leads and the alternator feed into the same plug?" — and the answer to that is no. Do not merge two sources into one connector and hope the station sorts it out. Put a charger between them that is designed to do the combining.
What the Charger 2 does
Our listing for the BLUETTI Charger 2 states it is a dual-input charger that pulls up to 800W from the vehicle alternator and up to 600W from solar at the same time, for 1,200W total into a power station while you drive. Bluetti rates that as twice the Charger 1 and thirteen times a standard car outlet. So from the station's point of view there is one input, and it is fed by both sources at once.
Bluetti also states the Charger 2 works with all BLUETTI power stations and 95% of third-party units, that it keeps power flowing to fridges, lights and a DC panel whether you are driving or parked, and that it protects against draining the starter battery. Charging is monitored in the BLUETTI app over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
What the Charger 1 does
The Charger 1 is the alternator-only version: up to 560W while the engine runs, which Bluetti rates as six times a cigarette lighter charger and enough to fill a 1kWh station in about two and a half hours. It has auto on/off so it will not flatten the starter battery. If your solar is already plugged into the station's own PV port and you only want to add driving charge, this is the cheaper piece and nothing is lost.
The station's own inputs are a separate question
Stations do combine sources internally, but which two depends on the model. Our Elite 200 V2 listing, for example, states up to 1,800W on AC, up to 1,000W from solar, and up to 2,400W using both together — that is AC plus solar, not alternator plus solar. Before you buy, check your model's spec sheet for two things: the maximum voltage and current its DC/PV input accepts, and whether the inputs are independent or share one internal converter. An alternator feed and a solar array have very different voltage behaviour, and the input rating is what decides whether a given combination is legal.
If you want DC loads as well
The DC Hub for Charger 2 splits the charger's DC output into nine ports totalling 700W — USB-C, USB-A, a cigarette socket and a locking 50A Anderson port rated 12V/50A — so a fridge or a diesel heater can run off the same feed without building a fuse panel.
