For the vehicles we sell the most Bilstein for, this page puts the four-shock set and the Bilstein steering stabilizer listed for the same vehicle into one cart. On a motorhome or a truck that tows, the shocks control body roll and porpoising, and the stabilizer damps the steering kickback and wander that a heavy front end feels over ruts and in crosswinds. Doing both at once means one alignment check and one afternoon under the vehicle.

Each kit is priced at the sum of its parts, with no bundle markup and no bundle discount, and the four-shock sets are themselves priced at exactly the sum of the four single shocks. The prices below are read from the product pages when this page loads. Every fitment line on this page is copied from our product listings, which carry Bilstein's application data. Not sure what you have? Check your chassis, year and drive type in the Bilstein Shock Fitment Finder first.

Ford F-53 motorhome, 1999-2024: shocks + steering stabilizer

The Ford gas Class A chassis. Bilstein also lists these parts by coach, including Holiday Rambler Vacationer and Monaco La Palma and Monarch.

What is in it

Fits (from our listings): Shocks: F-53 Motorhome Chassis 1999-2004, 2006-2009 and 2011-2024, and F-59 Commercial Stripped Chassis 2011-2024. Stabilizer: F-53 Motorhome Chassis 1988-2024. Bracket kit 11-317555: for F-53 chassis without OE steering stabilizer mounting brackets.

Why these parts: The stabilizer listing says a chassis without a factory stabilizer needs Bilstein bracket kit 11-317555 to mount it, so there are two buttons: look behind the front axle for an existing stabilizer or its brackets before you choose. The shock listings name no 2005 or 2010 F-53 model year, so check your chassis plate if your coach is one of those.

Ford F-53 motorhome, 1988-1997: shocks + steering stabilizer

The earlier F-53 uses different shocks from the 1999-on chassis; the stabilizer is the same part.

What is in it

Fits (from our listings): Shocks: F-53 Motorhome Chassis 1988-1997. Stabilizer: F-53 Motorhome Chassis 1988-2024. Bracket kit 11-317555 lists F-53 Motorhome Chassis 1988-1997.

Why these parts: Same choice as the later chassis: the bracket kit is only for a chassis that did not come with stabilizer mounts. A 1998 F-53 is not named in either shock set's listing; use the fitment finder or call us.

Ford E-350 / E-450 Class C: shocks + steering stabilizer

The cutaway chassis under most Class C motorhomes. These are Bilstein's RV Comfort shocks, valved for motorhome ride quality.

What is in it

Fits (from our listings): Both parts list: E-350 Super Duty 1999-2002 and 2004-2019, E-450 Econoline Super Duty 1999-2002, E-450 Super Duty 2003-2019. The shocks also list 2021-2023; the stabilizer lists 2021 only.

Why these parts: The two listings do not cover quite the same years: for a 2022 or 2023 E-450 the shock set fits but our stabilizer listing does not name those years, so buy the set on its own.

Ford F-250 / F-350 Super Duty 4WD, 2017-2026: shocks + steering stabilizer

For a Super Duty that pulls a fifth wheel or a big travel trailer and has started to wander or bounce.

What is in it

Fits (from our listings): Shocks: F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 2017-2026, 4WD (Bilstein application: F250 4WD). Stabilizer: F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 2017-2026 (Bilstein application: F250 Superduty 4x4).

Why these parts: Both listings are Bilstein's 4x4 applications for the same years, so this kit is 4WD only. The B6 4600 is Bilstein's stock-height heavy-duty shock; on a leveled or lifted truck ask us about the 5100 instead.

Ram 2500 4WD, 2014-2018: shocks + dual steering stabilizer

For the Ram 2500 Bilstein makes a dual steering stabilizer kit, two dampers instead of one, to settle front-end shimmy.

What is in it

Fits (from our listings): Shocks: Ram 2500 2014-2018, 4WD, without air leveling suspension. Dual stabilizer kit: Ram 2500 2014-2026 and 3500 2013-2026.

Why these parts: The shock set is for 4WD trucks without the rear air leveling suspension; check for air bags on the rear axle before ordering. The dual stabilizer kit covers the same Ram 2500 years. A 2WD Ram 2500 uses different shocks (see the set on our Bilstein collection) and is not kitted here.

Chevy Silverado / GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD, 2011-2016: shocks + steering stabilizer

A common fifth-wheel and slide-in camper tow rig.

What is in it

Fits (from our listings): Both parts list: Silverado 2500 HD and 3500 HD 2011-2016, Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD 2011-2016. The shock set also lists 2017-2026; the stabilizer does not.

Why these parts: The kit covers only the years both listings name, 2011-2016. Neither listing states a drive type, so confirm your truck in the fitment finder or call us before ordering; for 2017-on trucks buy the shock set on its own.

Jeep Wrangler JK with a 1.5-3 in lift, 2007-2018: shocks + steering stabilizer

For a JK towing a small teardrop or off-road trailer, or just running bigger tires.

What is in it

Fits (from our listings): Shocks: Wrangler 2007-2017 and Wrangler JK 2018, for 1.5-3 in of lift front and rear. Stabilizer: Wrangler 2007-2017 and Wrangler JK 2018.

Why these parts: All three are B8 5100, so damping is matched front, rear and steering. The shock lengths are for 1.5 to 3 inches of lift; at stock height use the B6 4600 JK set instead and buy the stabilizer separately.

Jeep Gladiator JT, stock to 1 in lift, 2020-2026: shocks + steering stabilizer

The Gladiator is a popular overland and camper tow vehicle; this is the stock-height kit.

What is in it

Fits (from our listings): Shocks: Gladiator 2020-2026, front for 0-1.5 in of lift and rear for 0-1 in. Stabilizer: Gladiator 2020-2026 (also Wrangler 2018-2026).

Why these parts: Matched B8 5100 front, rear and steering. If your Gladiator is lifted 2 inches or more, the 2-2.5 in and 3-4.5 in sets on our Bilstein collection use longer shocks; the same stabilizer is listed for the Gladiator.

How these kits are priced

A kit is a checklist you can buy from, not a discount. Each line costs exactly what it costs on its own product page, and the kit is the sum of its parts. The prices on this page are not typed in: they are read from the product pages each time this page loads, so a price change on a product shows up here too. If they do not load in your browser, the product links still work and checkout shows the price. Already own one of the parts? Buy only the lines you need from the product links, or remove a line in the cart. Found it cheaper? We'll beat it.
