MaxxAir Roof Fan Kits

A MaxxAir fan, the cover that fits it, and the butyl tape and sealant to install it, in one cart. Every kit here is for a standard 14 x 14 in roof opening. Each kit is priced at the sum of its parts, with no bundle markup and no bundle discount, and the prices are read from each product page when this page loads.

Why a cover: the MaxxFan and MaxxFan Plus have waterproof mounting tabs for MaxxAir's FanMate cover, which lets you leave the fan open and running in the rain or while you drive. The MaxxFan Deluxe has its rain shield built in, so it needs no cover; it is on our MaxxAir collection.

MaxxFan Plus 10-speed fan + FanMate cover + install kit

The everyday upgrade from a basic roof vent: 10 speeds, intake or exhaust, manual lift, white lid.

What is in it

Why these parts: The MaxxFan Plus listing calls for the FanMate (sold separately) and the FanMate listing says it fits over the molded mounting tabs on MaxxFan and MaxxFan Plus models with the included clip, no tools. Dicor's Seal-Tite Rooftop Accessory Install Kit is made for replacing or upgrading an RV rooftop accessory, so the fan goes down on fresh butyl and is sealed over.

MaxxFan Plus with remote and electric lid + smoke FanMate + install kit

Why these parts: Same FanMate fit as above: the cover clips to the MaxxFan Plus mounting tabs. The smoke FanMate is the tinted version, so it matches the smoke lid. With the cover on, the lid can stay open in the rain.

MaxxFan 4-speed exhaust fan + FanMate cover + install kit

The basic MaxxFan: four speeds, exhaust only, manual lift. Choose white or smoke; the cover matches.

What is in it

Why these parts: The MaxxFan listing names its waterproof molded tabs for tool-free FanMate installation, and the FanMate listing names the MaxxFan. Our MaxxFan listings use the 00A part numbers MaxxAir's site still shows; the current production numbers are 00B04301K and 00B04401K.

MaxxFan Pivot fan + FanMate cover + install kit

Why these parts: The Pivot listing says it has integrated mounting tabs for FanMate rain covers, and it is built on the MaxxFan Plus. The white FanMate matches its white lid.

Non-powered roof vent refresh: new lid + rain cover + shade

For a plain 14 x 14 in bathroom or galley vent with a cracked lid: a new universal lid, a cover so it can stay open in the rain, and a shade for sun and privacy.

What is in it

Why these parts: The MaxxAir I+ listing is for non-powered 14 x 14 in roof vents, and the MaxxShade listing names non-powered roof vents. UniMaxx is MaxxAir's universal replacement lid, so you do not need to know who made the original vent. This kit is for a vent without a fan; for a powered fan, use a FanMate kit above.
