Why these parts: The Vehicle Kit's toilet comes with a liquids bottle, an 18 in cable for the pre-installed 12V fan, and a fuse and holder. The 12V wall port kit gives the fan a finished, plugged connection instead of a spliced one; Nature's Head says it is not required. The extra liquids bottle and the 35L coir are the two things owners run short of first.

Why these parts: The P-trap's listing says it is designed for the Through-the-Floor toilet and kit, and a trap keeps tank odor from coming back up the line. You also need a 1-3/4 in hole saw, which is not included, and your own plumbing from the toilet's fitting to the tank. The in-line P-trap on our Nature's Head collection is the alternative if you are running straight 3/4 in PVC.

Why these parts: The toilet comes with 5 ft of polyurethane diverter hose; the extension hose is sold by the foot and its listing says it connects to the same 360-degree brass swivel fitting. Five extra feet covers a longer run to a tank; change the hose quantity in the cart if you need more or less.

Why these parts: The mushroom vent's listing gives a deck thickness range of about 1.1 to 1.6 in, so measure your deck or cabin top before ordering. The 12V wall port's waterproof plug is why it is the power option here rather than a lighter socket.
