The Victron BCD is a diode battery combiner that allows one charging source to charge two battery banks at the same time while keeping them isolated from each other. The diode design prevents current from flowing back between banks, so house loads cannot discharge the starter battery, which is a common requirement in dual-battery vehicles and boats.
Available in 40A and 80A versions for two batteries, it is sized to suit modest charging setups. It offers a simple, passive way to split charging output across separate banks in RV, camper, and marine 12V systems that need reliable battery separation. In stock and shipping from Upland, California.
