The Renogy 800W Essential kit is the panels-and-controller half of an off-grid system, for builders who already have batteries and an inverter or want to choose those separately. Four 200W rigid panels and a Rover 60A MPPT controller cover a daily need of roughly 3.5 to 4 kWh, which is enough for an RV, boat, yard, or remote cabin. Mounts, cabling, fusing, and a Bluetooth module are all in the box, so you are not hunting for compatible connectors partway through the install.
