The Bilstein 24-186070 is a B6 4600 shock for the front of the Dodge Ram 2500 2003-2010 (Mega Cab Only; With Solid Front Axle). The B6 4600 is Bilstein's heavy-duty monotube replacement shock for trucks and SUVs at stock ride height, working with the factory springs.
If you tow a camper or trailer with this rig, worn or undersized shocks show up as wallow, porpoising and a loose rear end under tongue weight; a correctly matched Bilstein setup keeps the truck flatter and more predictable loaded or off-road.
