The SmartSolar MPPT RS is Victron's solution for systems with large series-connected PV arrays charging 48V DC battery banks — perfect for large off-grid and grid-connected battery systems. Features include a wide 65–450 VDC solar voltage input (120 VDC startup), independent tracking inputs, full connectivity, isolated PV connections, a display screen, fully programmable charging parameters, and active cooling.

Multiple independent MPPT trackers let you optimize panel layout for your location. Isolated PV connections provide full galvanic isolation for added safety, and PV isolation resistance monitoring detects unsafe faults at higher voltages. The unit is light, efficient, and quiet thanks to high-frequency technology. Display and Bluetooth show battery and controller parameters and allow setup via VictronConnect. VE.Can and VE.Direct ports connect to a GX device for monitoring, logging, and remote updates; VE.Can supports up to 25 units in parallel. Programmable relay, temperature sensor, auxiliary, digital input, and voltage sense connections are included; the remote input accepts the Victron smallBMS and other allow-to-charge BMS signals.
