The ARK Smart Connector is a 7-way trailer socket with built-in trailer light testing, described by ARK as the world's first. It suits anyone who tows a camper, boat or utility trailer and wants to know the lights work before pulling out — without a second person standing behind the trailer.
Plug in your trailer and the Smart Connector powers up and runs an automatic 20-second light test, activating each light in sequence for a quick walk-around check. Results go to your phone over Bluetooth (iOS or Android) as a pass or fault notification, and you can re-run the test from the app at any time. It detects wiring issues on either the trailer or vehicle side, works with almost any 12V tow vehicle and trailer combination, and brings modern tech to older vehicles.
