The stainless steel fitting that connects the 12V water pump into the plumbing of a Black Series HQ camper, on the inlet or outlet side. It is one of the first things to check when the pump cycles on and off or runs without delivering water: a loose or cracked pump fitting lets air into the line upstream of the pump, so the pump loses prime. Owners replace it when it drips, when the seal has hardened, or when it cracked during a winter freeze.

Installation and care
Switch off the pump and open a tap to release pressure before removing the old fitting. Check the seal on the pump port and the hose end for cracks while it is apart, and tighten the new fitting firmly by hand without forcing it. Run the pump with a tap open to purge air, then watch the fitting for drips. Carry a spare fitting and hose clamps on remote trips; this is a five-minute repair if you have the parts.
