Under the HQ17 lower bunk is a framing structure that carries the bunk base and everything on it. It is out of sight until a fixing pulls through, a member cracks after years of corrugated roads, or shower water gets into it. This genuine Black Series replacement framing is sized to match the original HQ17 bunk structure, so the bunk goes back together squarely, whether for a repair, a renovation, or a custom build.

What you get
One lower bunk floor framing assembly for the HQ17, sold individually. The white bunk base is listed separately.
Installation and care
Photograph the old framing before it comes out, since the order in which members are fixed matters when you rebuild. Check the floor and the adjacent wall for soft spots while the framing is out and deal with any water damage first, or the new framing will sit on a bad base. Fix the new framing to the same structural points with the original hardware, checking for square before final tightening, and look under the bunk once a season for fixings that have worked loose.
