This stainless steel outside door hinge for Black Series HQ Series camper trailers is self-closing: it pulls the door shut on its own, and an adjustable tension setting lets you dial in how quickly it closes. Owners replace a hinge when the original has seized, lost its closing tension, or the door has started to sag and rub the frame. Constant off-road vibration loosens door hardware, and a hinge that no longer closes the door properly lets dust and water past the seal.

What you get
One heavy-duty stainless steel self-closing hinge with the hex wrench for adjusting closing tension. Order SKU RVP-00173.
Installation and care
Support the door while swapping the hinge so the remaining hinge and the door skin are not stressed. Fit the new hinge, then adjust tension with the supplied hex wrench until the door closes fully without slamming. Seal the exterior screw holes with a marine-grade sealant. Check hinge screws for tightness after rough trips and wipe the stainless down after salt-air camping.
This is a genuine Black Series OEM part, so it fits the way the factory part did. It ships from our warehouse in Upland, CA.
