The Renogy DC-DC On-Board Battery Charger with MPPT charges a house battery two ways at once: from the starter battery through the vehicle alternator, and from solar panels wired straight into the unit. That dual input is what makes it a standard piece in a van, truck camper or overland build that charges while driving and again while parked.
