The Renogy 600W Essential kit is the middle size in Renogy's custom kit range, built for a home, RV, boat, or off-grid cabin where a smaller array is not quite enough but a full roof of panels is more than you have. Three 200W panels feed either a 60A MPPT charge controller, from the Rover or REGO series, or a 50A DC-DC on-board battery charger if you want the vehicle alternator in the loop as well. Renogy bases its output figures on five to six peak sunlight hours per day.
