The Renogy Rover Boost is an unusual charge controller: it steps 12V or 24V solar panel voltage up to charge a 36V or 48V battery bank. Renogy aims it at golf carts, electric vehicles and scooters, where it extends driving range without a larger array, and its compact body suits narrow spaces.
