An underbody guard that bolts beneath the water tank on a Black Series HQ camper and takes the hits from rocks, ruts, and road debris that would otherwise land on the tank. Owners fit one after a close call on a rough track, or after finding scuffs and gouges on the tank during a service. It suits the fresh, gray, and black water tanks and bolts to the existing tank mounting points.

What you get
Sold individually: one skid plate in embossed diamond-plate 5052-H32 aluminum alloy, 0.125″ (3.2 mm) thick, mill finish, with drainage channels and stainless steel mounting hardware. Listed weight is 18 lbs (8.2 kg). Order SKU RVP-00121.
Installation and care
Support the tank while you loosen the existing mounting bolts, slide the plate into position, and torque the hardware evenly. Keep the drainage channels clear so water and mud do not sit between the plate and the tank. After each off-road trip, look for loose fasteners and deep dents; a plate that has taken a heavy strike should be pulled and checked for cracks around the mounts. Aluminum does not rust, but a rinse after salt or mud keeps the mill finish from staining.
