The Pecron DC1242-500 charges a Pecron power station from your vehicle or tow-vehicle battery at up to 500W, far faster than a car-socket cable. It takes 12-30V in (50A max) from the battery and sends up to 42V, 13A to the power station's DC input.
It reads the input voltage and only switches on above a starting voltage you set with a knob, so it charges while the engine runs and stops before it drains the starting battery. It has short-circuit, over-voltage, under-voltage and overheating protection, fan cooling, and comes with an XT90 input cable of about 16 ft (5 m).
