What's Included
- Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 — Solar charge controller. Handles up to 400W of panels on 12V (800W on 24V), with built-in Bluetooth for real-time monitoring via VictronConnect. Charges AGM, GEL, and LiFePO4 batteries with configurable voltage profiles.
- Victron BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor — Battery monitor with round wall-mount display. Tracks state of charge (%), voltage, current, and time-to-go. Bluetooth-enabled for monitoring via VictronConnect app.
Why These Two Together
The SmartSolar MPPT manages solar input but only shows battery voltage — not true state of charge. The BMV-712 adds current integration for accurate SOC tracking. Paired, they give you complete visibility over your solar system: how much is coming in, how much you've used, and how much you have left.
Both devices sync in VictronConnect so you can see solar input and battery status on one screen.
