The short version: two Anker SOLIX stations have a TT-30R receptacle that a 30-amp RV shore cord plugs straight into: the C2000 Gen 2, rated 120V, 20A and 2,400 W on that outlet, and the F3800 Plus, rated 120V, 25A and up to 3,000 W. Neither fills a full 30-amp service, so you run the coach and stage the heavy loads. Here is what each can and can't do.
Update, October 2026: we now also stock the Anker SOLIX F3000, whose TT-30R Anker rates at 120V, 30A and 3,600 W, the full rating of a 30-amp pedestal. See how it compares in Anker SOLIX F3000 vs F3800 Plus.
What a 30-amp RV actually needs
A TT-30 shore connection is one 120V leg at 30 amps, which is 3,600 W at the pedestal (120 × 30). Your trailer rarely draws all of that. What decides whether a power station can carry the coach is the biggest load you switch on, usually the rooftop air conditioner, plus everything already running: the converter, the fridge on electric, the water heater element and the microwave.
Plugging a shore cord into a station's TT-30R gives the coach the station's limit, not the pedestal's. The C2000 Gen 2 tops out at 2,400 W on that outlet and the F3800 Plus at 3,000 W, so keep the total under that or the station will stop supplying it.
C2000 Gen 2: TT-30R at 2,400 W
Anker's spec table lists the C2000 Gen 2's TT-30R at 120V, 20A max and 2,400 W, which matches the station's 2,400 W rated output (4,000 W peak). Anker's own page calls it a way to power your entire RV through the TT-30 port.
- Capacity: 2,048 Wh, or 4,096 Wh with one BP2000 (Gen 2) expansion battery.
- Recharging: up to 1,800 W from the wall, 800 W from solar and 800 W from the Alternator Charger while you drive.
- Weight: 41.7 lb, so one person can move it in and out of a pass-through bay.
F3800 Plus: TT-30R at up to 3,000 W, plus 240V
Anker's F3800 Plus page lists a TT-30R (120V, 25A, up to 3,000 W) and an L14-30R (120/240V, 25A, up to 6,000 W), plus six 120V household outlets. Total output is 6,000 W. Anker's feature bullet calls these "TT-30P or L14-30 ports", but its spec table and FAQ call the RV outlet a TT-30R (120V~25A) receptacle, which is the socket a shore cord plugs into.
One caution if you also have Anker's original F3800 in mind: that model lists a NEMA 14-50 and an L14-30 instead of the TT-30. We sell the F3800 Plus.
- Capacity: 3,840 Wh, expandable with up to six BP3800 batteries (3,840 Wh each).
- Solar: up to 3,200 W across two 1,600 W inputs, 11–165V.
- Weight: 136.7 lb on built-in wheels. Plan where it will live before you buy.
One catch: while the F3800 Plus is itself plugged into a 120V outlet, Anker says the TT-30R passes power through at up to 1,440 W and the L14-30R is off, so unplug it from the wall to get the full 3,000 W on the TT-30R.
Can it run the air conditioner?
Anker's RV AC sizing guide puts a 13,500 BTU rooftop unit at about 1,300–1,800 W running and 2,800–3,500 W to start. On paper both stations cover the running load. The C2000 Gen 2's 4,000 W peak clears the start-up range on paper; Anker does not publish a surge figure for the F3800 Plus's TT-30R, so test your own unit before relying on either.
Runtime is the bigger limit. Using our planning estimate of 85% usable capacity (hours = Wh × 0.85 ÷ watts):
| Station | Usable (planning) | AC running at 1,300–1,800 W |
|---|---|---|
| C2000 Gen 2 | about 1,741 Wh | about 1 to 1.3 hours |
| C2000 Gen 2 + BP2000 | about 3,482 Wh | about 1.9 to 2.7 hours |
| F3800 Plus | about 3,264 Wh | about 1.8 to 2.5 hours |
That is enough to cool the trailer down before bed, not to run the AC all night. For overnight cooling you still need shore power, a generator, or a much larger battery bank.
What runs well on a TT-30R station
- Lights, the water pump, fans and the furnace blower.
- The fridge, on electric if your fridge allows it (propane uses far less of the station).
- TV, router, laptops and phone charging.
- Short loads like a coffee maker or microwave, one at a time.
Keep the electric water heater element and electric space heaters off. They draw heavily for a long time and will drain any portable station quickly.
Turn off the converter's battery charging
When the coach is plugged into a station, the RV's converter sees what looks like shore power and starts charging the house battery from it. That moves energy from one battery to another and loses some on the way. If you can, switch the converter off or pull its breaker while you run from the station, and let the house battery look after itself.
Recharging between nights
A station is only as good as the way you refill it. The C2000 Gen 2 takes up to 800 W of solar, which our planning math (panel watts × 4–5 sun hours × 0.75) puts at about 2,400–3,000 Wh on a good day. The F3800 Plus takes up to 3,200 W. If you drive most days, the Alternator Charger guide explains charging on the road, and the PS100, PS200 and PS400 sizing guide covers panels.
Which one for your trailer
- Weekend trailer, fridge and lights, no overnight AC: the C2000 Gen 2, with a BP2000 if you stay out longer.
- Bigger trailer, heavier loads, or you also want home backup and 240V: the F3800 Plus.
- You mainly need the AC all day: neither on its own. Talk to us about a generator or a built-in system.

FAQ
Do I need an adapter to plug my 30-amp RV into a C2000 Gen 2?
No. Anker lists a TT-30R receptacle on the C2000 Gen 2, which is the socket a standard 30-amp shore cord plugs into. The outlet is limited to 20A and 2,400 W.
Can a 50-amp RV use the F3800 Plus?
Anker does not list a NEMA 14-50 outlet on the F3800 Plus; its RV outlet is the TT-30R. A 50-amp coach would need an adapter down to 30 amps and would get the TT-30R's limit. The L14-30R is a 240V twist-lock, not an RV plug.
Will it trip if I go over?
Expect the AC output to shut off rather than sag. Anker's product pages don't give reset steps, so check your station's manual. Turn off the heavy load before you restart.
Where does it ship from?
Both ship from our warehouse in Upland, California, to the lower 48 states, with Anker's 5-year warranty. See the full Anker SOLIX range.
