The Power Saver Kit links an Anker SOLIX F3000 to your home circuit. The bi-directional inlet box makes the connection, and the smart meter checks your energy use every 15 seconds so stored solar or off-peak power goes where it is needed. Anker says this can save up to $1,560 a year.
In the box: the Bi-Directional Inlet Box, the Smart Meter, two 200A and two 50A current transformers, an extendable antenna and the manual.

But the savings add up fast. With the F3000 and an expansion battery, I can cover my entire peak rate window. The smart meter has been awesome too. Wire connections that fit only 14 gauge need to be more suited for solid wire. They use the same type terminals as the signal wire.Good thing they added a free extra to my order.

I’m a renter and I have an older electric box that makes the Anker Home Power Panel not the right fit. I did a lot of research and watched a few YouTube installments videos and I was very happy that I was able to install it into my existing panel. I’m very handy and I have installed light switches and electrical outlets in previous homes. Everything works great. I have strong WiFi, so I didn’t have to connect the communication cable.

I am enjoying the unit so far. It has been able to see my other solar system and direct that power into the battery for stored use later. It monitors both legs of my homes 200amp service.

The Smart Meter and bi-directional outlet are both fairly easy to install and use even with no previous electrical experience. I know this because I installed them myself and have never done electrical work prior. Youtube has you covered. Just make sure the mains are off when messing with anything electrical. Wired in the smart meter no problem, and added a dedicated breaker for one of the F3000 units, and extended a line on the other phase to a second F3000 bi-directional outlet setup. You only need one Smart Meter to work with 2 F3000 units and the bi-directional outlet for each one. Two units will cover both phases of your house. Add the items in the app, setup your system in the app, and you are good to go. The app will walk you through and make sure all is correct.

Easy setup, but one hitch, your setting up to 12 ga wire for full output but then need to find a 14 ga wire to complete setup. Only 14ga wire fits in unit. Try buying 1 foot of 14 ga wire….lol If I’m using solid wire, I want all solid wire, its says no where if you can use stranded….

Works as advertised! If you have good WiFi for both the generator and smart sensor, then wired communication cable is not necessary. 1800w max. Also smart enough to reduce they if you have other loads on the branch circuit.

This is a game changer for small solar and offsetting grid power. This along with the f3000 has made a difference for me
