Conqueror UEV Camper Parts in the US: What Fits and Where It Comes From

Conqueror's US importer supplies parts from Ohio or overseas, or modifies the trailer for domestic parts. Which UEV components cross over and how to check.

Stainless steel SAE five-bolt flange water tank level sender

Conqueror's UEV trailers are South African by design, sold in the United States through a North American importer, and the importer is unusually straightforward about parts: they are available, some come from the Ohio headquarters, some have to be ordered from overseas, and where neither works the trailer can be modified to take domestic parts.

That last option is the interesting one, and it is what this guide is about. A good share of a UEV-310, 390, 440 or 490 is standard off-road trailer hardware that a US supplier can ship directly, and knowing which parts those are turns a weeks-long overseas order into a repair you can do this weekend.

How Conqueror parts work in the US

The importer fits options at its Ohio base before trailers go to dealers or customers, and it is the first call for anything Conqueror-specific. Owners in the North American owners group ask the questions you would expect, including where to find the owner's manual and a parts list for a recent UEV 490, which tells you the documentation is not always in the folder that came with the trailer.

For a Conqueror-specific part, go to the importer. Body, doors, the slide-out kitchen hardware, the roof tent and its frame, the bespoke electrical panel and anything carrying the Conqueror name are theirs to supply, and they know which parts have changed between model years.

For standard hardware, you have a choice, and the importer's own words, that the trailer can be modified to take domestic parts, are the permission slip.

What crosses over

Wheel bearings and hubs. Specified by axle, not by brand. Measure the brake drum diameter and you know which set fits; our bearing sizes guide walks through it and applies to any trailer. Timken sets for 10-inch and 12-inch drums cover the common off-road axles. A UEV is heavy; carry a full set.

The water pump. Standard 12 V diaphragm pumps with standard ports. Match the port size and flow rating and the replacement is a direct swap.

Tank level senders. The SAE five-bolt flange is near-universal. A stainless sender fits once the length is matched to tank depth. This is one of the most common failures on a trailer that has been through a water crossing, and one of the cheapest fixes.

Seals. Compartment, hatch and window seals flatten and harden regardless of who built the trailer. A self-adhesive EPDM bubble seal is the general fix, fitted in one piece with the old adhesive fully removed.

Cabinet and window hardware. A push-to-open cabinet latch holds a door shut on corrugations, and a window latch that has lost its bite is a common source of both dust and water. Check the mounting pattern before ordering; these are the parts where a photo of the existing hardware saves a return.

12 V electrical. Fuses, breakers, busbars, terminals and lighting are standard across every trailer. The panel layout is Conqueror's; the protective hardware inside it is not.

What to leave to the importer

  • The coupling, if it is a proprietary or South African unit. Couplings are safety-critical and the tow pin and receiver have to match.
  • The suspension arms and any bespoke suspension components.
  • Structural body and chassis parts.
  • The roof tent, its frame and its fabric.
  • The kitchen slide and its rails, which are engineered for the loads of a loaded galley.

If in doubt, the rule is: measure it, and if it matches a standard part it probably is one; if it does not, it is theirs.

How to check before you order

  1. Measure the part. Drum diameter for bearings, tank depth for senders, port size for pumps, channel width for seals, mounting pattern for latches.
  2. Photograph the old part in place, showing its mounting.
  3. Send us both. We will tell you whether we have a direct match, whether a standard part will fit with a minor modification of the kind the importer describes, or whether it is one for Ohio. We would rather say the third than ship the wrong thing.

What to carry

For a trailer whose bespoke parts cross an ocean:

  • Bearings and seals for one hub, plus cotter pins
  • A spare pump or at least its fittings
  • A length of EPDM seal and a set of cabinet latches
  • Every fuse rating the trailer uses
  • The tools to pull a hub, and grease

Our guide to the spares every off-road camper should carry explains the choices.

The rest of the imported segment

We have written the same guide for MDC, OPUS, Patriot and Bruder, and a universal parts guide for the brands without one. Conqueror sits in the middle: more crosses over than on a Bruder, less than on an MDC.

Everything we stock ships from Upland, California.
