The Bilstein 24-174534 is a B8 5100 steering stabilizer (steering damper) for the Ford E-150 to E-450 Vans. It damps steering kickback and road-induced shimmy, which helps a tall, heavy vehicle track straighter in crosswinds and over ruts.
