ICECO APL35 37QT Dual Zone Aluminum 12V Portable Fridge Freezer

The APL 35 with aluminum construction/finish looks great and performs amazingly well. We power ours with an ICECO 250wh power bank. Reaches desired temps in 10-15 minutes and maintains correct temp while in use. We are very happy with our purchase.

Got this in our Tacoma truck bed - works great with our truck’s built-in power inverter while driving. While camping, we ran it with the ICECO magnetic battery. This is a solid setup for overlanding and camping.

I received the unit and it immediately started throwing E3 error codes. May have been due to shippers placing unit on its end. After several less than satisfactory emails back and forth with support I decided to just return the unit. They did pay return shipping and fully refunded my money at least. 2 stars for that.

I was hesitant to purchase a 12V fridge, but man I'm so glad I did. It's so nice not having food nasty and wet from ice melting. I never realized how much of a pain it was to have to get ice every couple of days with a cooler. And having ice cream on the trail or out camping is insane, everyone was a fan of my iceco APL35. It's so efficient and quiet and well. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

The ICECO APL35 has been one of my favorite purchases for our trips and outdoor adventures. It cools down fast, and keeps temperatures consistent. I set it to ECO for the night time and MAX for the day time while I use the portable solar panel. Overall, it’s reliable, convenient, and definitely worth the investment.

The ICECO APL35 has been a great upgrade from a regular cooler. No more melted ice or soggy sandwiches everything stays dry and consistently cold. It’s also surprisingly lightweight for what it offers, quiet when running and the lid staying open which makes loading and unloading easy. The app control is another standout feature. Whether the cooler is in the back seat or in the truck bed, I can adjust settings directly from my phone without having to access it physically. I had a small plug issue but customer service handled it quickly. That experience definitely added to my confidence in the brand. Adding the battery pack was worth it for extra flexibility. Overall very solid and I’d recommend it.

Excellent! So easy to use. Customer service is amazing. Perfect for my van!!

Awesome fridge, light weight, plenty of space, quiet and efficient, what more could you want.

This is my 2nd portable refrigerator. My previous refrigerator weighed +50 lbs and it was the same capacity. The ICECO APL35 only weighs 32 lbs and it is much better refrigerator. It maintains the set temperature in both zones consistently. I like having ice cream on my trips and the freezer side keeps it frozen.

Brought for my Cybertruck, could not be happier. Current draw is negligible, perfect size for truck bed at tailgate. Never seen a an icebox cool down to operational temperatures so fast. Never leave home without it. So many uses.

I received my APL35 from the Indiegogo fundraiser. It's been on 3 overlanding trips so far and has proven to be quite the workhorse. The dual zones cool to the set temperatures very quickly and maintain them efficiently despite numerous openings and closings. When not on trips, my fridge doubles as a drink cooler at home.

I travel full-time and solo in my tiny Food Transit Connect and have Parkinson's disease, Part of staying healthy involves good nutrition, something that can be difficult if you're not close to grocery stores. My old fridge worked well but did not have a freezer capability and that's why, after a lot of research, I bought the APL35. It allows me to carry enough frozen protein for at least a week and also lots of fresh fruits and veggies in the large fridge side. It's a game changer and allows me to be out in nature without having to constantly worry about getting to a grocery store. I'm so appreciative of this as my goal is to stay active and adventuring as long I can stay healthy. Thanks ICECO!

I bought this as it met the height requirements to fit under my tonneau cover, work with my custom-designed truck bed storage system/fridge slide, and still fit with clearance. I have TRD OR 23’ in Tacoma under the retrax XR cover. Fridge: Pros: It's a great size for solo camping for an extended period or a short trip with a few friends. There are no ice trips at gas stations. The app works fairly well and is easy to use. It's a very nice-looking cooler, and it's very energy efficient. Con’s: (minor complaints in big picture) The aluminum bottom dents under the weight of 12-ounce cans in a car. Any movement will make minor dents that don’t affect usability. The app logs you out about every two weeks. If this happens while camping, that’s annoying. It will be a pain even if it hasn’t happened yet, and the Iceco login process is odd and cumbersome. Batter & solar panel combo: Pros: test time ran for about 20 hours in July in my garage in Salt Lake, Utah, greater area. Similar run time in Ephriam Mountains camping in August. This is without any power input and fridge pre-cooled from a wall outlet. 5% charge loss in 1 hour. (Both sides set to 32 degrees F) The battery will charge off my Tacoma bed without tripping the breakers using the truck bed outlet. I have a second backup battery (both 250wh) that can charge in the cab using 12 volts. This leaves me 40ish hours without any power to run the fridge on two small compact batteries. The max wattage pull is 100W, which works with low-wattage charges (for me, this was huge). Solar panel charges the battery very quickly when hooked up. (I have one, and it keeps batteries topped off at 100% in the day's heat if they are in direct sunlight. Will top off the battery and run the fridge for a few hours. The result of this battery over a larger bank is more charge options, leading to greater flexibility. You can see temps in the truck cab or my RTF using app. Cons: Once or twice, I haven’t noticed the 12-volt plug come out of the fridge/power bank connection. (Even with the 4-prong connector) I habitually check the fridge every 5 minutes after using it to ensure I don’t accidentally lose power. This battery would be perfect if it used a more secure connection.

Been running the apl 37 for 15 days straight 24 hrs a day..no trouble at all freezing and chill 😀😀

I really like everything about this fridge/freezer. APL35 is the perfect size for me. It also looks great in my van. Shipping was fast. Packaging was very good. I'm looking forward to using this for many years.

The APL35-Black is undoubtedly the best car fridge I've ever owned. I waiting to purchase until they came out with the black version. The fridge is so energy efficient compared to older models. Combined with 200 watts of solar, I can keep the freezer on with no problem. The only thing I noticed when using the smaller chamber as a freezer is that wall on the fridge side will frost up. Also accumulates frost on the top of the chamber partition. Other than that, I'm very happy with the product!

Perfect fridge! I was camping at desert for few days and it kept my food cold at triple numbers temps outside as a champ! I also used external solar power generator to make sure fridge runs non stop. Thinking to get ICECO powerbank for the short trips. Awesome Job ICECO!

Good size for me and appears well built. I love the design and how light it is. It is efficient and does a good job in keeping cold when connected to a stable power source. Tends to generate E3 codes and stops working when the power source is less stable; this leads to worry about it failing without my knowing as there is no notification until you look at the front panel or try to access it via the app. #ICECOGEAR
