Shipping: this kit ships in more than one box. The LiTime items ship free and direct from LiTime's US warehouse; every other part ships from our warehouse in Upland, CA. Lower 48 states only (no Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico). LiTime warranty and support are handled by LiTime directly.
Travel trailers and fifth wheels that still run one or two lead-acid house batteries in a Group 27 tray. Two LiTime 100Ah Group 27 batteries drop into the same space, give 2,560Wh, more than twice the usable energy of two lead-acid 27s, and the parts here wire them as one properly fused, monitored bank.

How it's sized
- Bank: 2 x 100Ah in parallel stays at 12V, so nothing else in the trailer changes. Each battery is fused at its own post with a 125A MEGA fuse, above its 100A BMS limit and below what a 2/0 cable carries.
- Equal cables: both batteries run to the busbars on identical 5 ft 2/0 pairs, which is what keeps a parallel lithium bank balanced.
- Alternator charging: the 40A DC-DC charger needs about 50A from the vehicle at full output, hence the 60A fuses. On a 7-way charge pin (usually 10-12 AWG) set it to 20A; for 40A run a dedicated 6 AWG line from the tow vehicle.
- Shore power: set your RV converter to its lithium (14.4-14.6V) profile, or replace it if it has no lithium setting.
- Monitor: the SmartShunt sits in the main negative between the battery busbar and the RV, so every amp in or out of the bank is counted.
Not included
- Short jumpers between fuse, switch and busbar, and the cable from the tow vehicle to the DC-DC charger, depend on your layout and are not included.
- If your RV's existing battery leads are smaller than 2/0, keep the fuse that protects them in place.
