A battery-operated carbon monoxide detector in a white finish for RV and camper safety. An electrochemical sensor triggers an 85dB alarm and a red LED indicator, and the unit records the last CO event in memory so you can see whether it went off while you were away. Standby current is under 10μA, so the included 2 AA batteries last. Owners fit one when a camper has no detector, when the original sensor has reached the end of its life, or to add a second unit near the bedroom.

Installation and care
Mount it at roughly breathing height in the sleeping area, away from the stove and bathroom fan so fumes and steam do not trigger false alarms. Press the test button before every trip and swap the batteries each season. CO sensors have a finite life, so note the manufacture date on the back and replace the whole unit when it reaches the end of its stated service life. Never ignore an alarm — get outside, then find the source.
