Which Dometic AC do you sell, and will it fit my roof?

One model at the moment: the Penguin II 15,000 BTU high-capacity rooftop unit in black. It drops into the standard 14 x 14 in RV roof opening (Dometic lists the cut-out as 360 mm square), runs on 115 V and sits about 11 1/4 in tall on the roof. We do not currently list the 13,500 BTU version, so read the 13,500 vs 15,000 BTU comparison before you decide.

What else does a Penguin II install need?

The listing is the rooftop unit only. Dometic says a non-ducted installation also needs an air distribution box and a CCC II thermostat, and a ducted installation needs a return-air grille and a CCC II thermostat. We do not currently list the air distribution box, so plan to reuse or source those parts before the unit arrives. CoolMatic CRX 80S or CFX-95DZW: which Dometic RV fridge?

The CRX 80S is a built-in cabinet fridge with 2.6 cu ft of cold storage and a 0.26 cu ft freezer compartment you can remove to run it as all-fridge. The CFX-95DZW is a portable chest with two independent compartments (85 L total), each switchable between fridge and freezer, with WiFi control from the Dometic CFX app; it is a discontinued model, sold new. Does the CRX 80S need an inverter?

No. It has its own 120 V AC input as well as 12/24 V DC, so it runs from shore power or straight off the house battery. The listing gives 1.23 A at 120 V AC and 5.6 A at 12 V DC. The cabinet is 18 11/16 in wide, 25 3/16 in high and 20 13/16 in deep; allow the ventilation clearance in Dometic's installation manual, since those are cabinet sizes, not the cut-out.

Is the Atwood 31011 CO and propane detector still made?

No. Dometic has discontinued it and our stock is the final allocation, with no restock coming. It is a hard-wired 12 V DC alarm that detects both carbon monoxide and LP gas in one unit. The detector guide explains what to check before you replace one.

How do shipping, returns and pricing work?

Every Dometic order ships from Upland, California, in 3-7 days. The smaller parts on this page qualify for free standard shipping to the contiguous U.S., and the Penguin II (a 101 lb unit) also ships free to the contiguous U.S., as its listing states.
