A knife block takes counter space an RV galley does not have, and knives loose in a drawer are a hazard on a rough road. A wall-mounted magnetic strip solves both. This 12″ strip is 304 stainless steel with strong magnets that hold knives, utensils, and metal tools securely, and its satin finish is easy on blades and hands. It is just as useful in a home kitchen or a workshop.

Installation and care
Choose a spot that is out of the walking path and away from the stove, and check what is behind the wall before drilling; RV wall panels are thin, so anchor into a stud, cabinet frame, or a backing block. Mount it high enough that blade tips clear the counter. When you place a knife, lay the spine on the strip first and roll the blade on to avoid nicking the edge, and lift it off the same way. Wipe the strip with a damp cloth and dry it so the steel keeps its satin finish.
