The Black Series HQ19 (and the twin-bunk HQ19T) is one of the most popular off-road travel trailers on the trail — and like any rig that lives on washboard gravel and BLM backroads, it needs the occasional replacement part. The challenge most owners hit: Black Series parts aren't sold at your local RV store. This guide covers the parts HQ19 owners replace most, how to confirm a part fits your build, and the upgrades worth doing while you're at it.

HQ19 vs HQ19T: does it change which parts fit?
The HQ19 and HQ19T share the same chassis, suspension, and most exterior hardware, so the majority of parts are interchangeable between the two. The main differences are in the interior floorplan (the HQ19T adds bunks), which affects furniture, cushions, and some interior cabinetry. When in doubt, match the part to your model year as well as the model — Black Series has revised windows, doors, and cabinet hardware across production years.
The parts HQ19 owners replace most
1. Windows, doors & seals
Acrylic double-pane windows, the entrance door assembly, and their rubber seals take a beating from sun and vibration. We stock exact-fit Black Series replacement windows by size and full doors, covers & skylights, including complete entrance-door assemblies with window and screen. Always measure your existing window (width x height in mm) before ordering — see our size chart on each product page.
2. Suspension, brakes & running gear
Off-road trailers see 3-5x more vibration than highway-only units, so shocks, springs, bushings, and wheel bearings wear faster. Shop brakes, suspension, tyres & wheels for off-road shocks, springs, and the brake drum/hub assemblies that fit the HQ19's independent suspension. Re-torque suspension bolts and inspect bearings every few trips.
3. Electrical, solar & off-grid power
The HQ19 is built for boondocking, so its 12V system, solar, batteries, and inverter/charger are heavily used. Browse RV electrical & solar parts and our full Victron Energy range for charge controllers, lithium batteries, and inverter/chargers when it's time to repair or upgrade.
4. Appliances & interior
Fridges, air conditioners, water heaters, and interior cabinet hardware are common replacement items. See RV appliances and interior parts & accessories for direct-fit options.
5. Water & plumbing
Pumps, tanks, level sensors, and fittings round out the most-replaced list. Shop RV water systems & plumbing parts.
How to confirm a part fits your HQ19
- Match the model AND year. Black Series revises components across production runs.
- Measure before you buy — especially windows, doors, and cushions. Compare against the dimensions listed on the product page.
- Check the fitment notes. Many of our product pages list compatible models (HQ12 through HQ22T).
- Still unsure? Send us a photo and your VIN — we'll confirm the right part before you order.
Upgrades worth doing on an HQ19
While you have a part off, these are popular HQ19 upgrades: a larger lithium battery bank and Victron inverter/charger for longer off-grid stays, upgraded off-road shocks for rougher terrain, and exterior storage and recovery gear. See best-selling RV upgrades for the parts other owners buy most.
