No, and this one is worth knowing before you order, because the panel and the station are both current products and you would reasonably assume they work together.
What Jackery states
The SolarSaga 100 Air listing states that it is not compatible with the Explorer 300 v2, Explorer 300, 300D or 240D for recharging. That is Jackery's own compatibility note, not our inference.
So if your station is one of those small units, buying a 100 Air will not get you a charge.
What to use instead
For the Explorer 300D, the SolarSaga 40 Air is the sensible match. Its listing states 40W output at 0.9 kg, bifacial cells rated at 23% efficiency, an IP68 rating and a four-corner mounting system that lets you hang or strap it almost anywhere. It also has dual USB ports so it can charge phones directly without the station involved.
Sizing-wise that is reasonable rather than mean. The Explorer 300D listing states 288Wh, so a 40W panel in decent sun is a meaningful daily contribution to a unit that size.
The connector trap on older stations
Separately from the 100 Air issue, several older Jackery stations use a different input connector. The SolarSaga 100 Prime listing notes that older models including the Explorer 1000, 550, 500, 300, 240 and 160 require a DC8020 to DC7909 adapter. The SolarSaga 200W includes that adapter in the box, which makes it the easier choice if you have a mixed fleet of old and new units.
How to check any panel and station pairing
- Read the panel listing's compatibility note, not the station's. The exclusions are published on the panel side.
- Match the connector, and if the station is more than a couple of generations old, assume an adapter is needed until you have confirmed otherwise.
- Size sensibly. Roughly a quarter of the station's capacity in panel watts is a comfortable daily top-up, so a 288Wh unit is well served by 40W and a 2kWh unit is not.
