The Bilstein 24-186575 is a B6 shock for the rear of the Chevy Silverado 2500 HD 2001-2010. The B6 is Bilstein's heavy-duty monotube replacement shock, working with the factory springs.
If you tow a camper or trailer with this rig, worn or undersized shocks show up as wallow, porpoising and a loose rear end under tongue weight; a correctly matched Bilstein setup keeps the truck flatter and more predictable loaded or off-road.
