This is ICECO's upgraded two-piece insulated cover for the VL45ProS single-zone fridge freezer: a body sleeve plus a separate lid cover, shaped to follow the fridge closely. The added insulation cuts the heat load on the cabinet, so the compressor cycles less and your 12V battery goes further between charges.

Hook-and-loop loops tie the lid cover to the fridge lid, so you can open the fridge without taking anything off. ICECO moved the old external bag inside as a zippered pocket to save space, and its product images show five organizer pockets front and back for cables, a thermometer or the manual. The box holds the insulated cover, the lid cover, the loops and a user manual. It fits the VL45ProS only.

No noticeable difference in cooling

I love my ICECO, don't get me wrong. But it doesn't hold temperature much at all when it is full of food and turned off...temp immediately starts climbing. I hoped this cover woud help some...it doesn't.

Keeps the cooler in great condition

I bought this mostly because my husband is hard on things and this will keep it from getting banged up in the garage. 🙃 Energy efficiency is just an added bonus!

It helps with Arizona heat!

I got this cover for my VL45Pro due to the fridge working hard to keep my fridge cool when it’s over 100° here in Arizona. After getting the cover I noticed a difference in how hard the fridge has to work to keep my fridge cool. Plus as an added bonus this protector will help parent any damage to the fridges exterior when it’s in the bed of my truck during offroad and camping trips.

Huge improvement over original version.

This cover is a HUGE improvement over original version. The original cover was absolutely terrible and the quality was terrible. This version looks and feels so much better made and really compliments the VLPRO series aesthetically. That’s said the one negative and reason I knocked off one star is there doesn’t appear to be much insulation and due to the dual open lid design of the VLPRO series the top is basically just an uninsulated aesthetic cap thatbis Velcro’ed on and probably does nothing to insulate at at all.

Great but slightly flawed for the heat.

Aesthetically, this is a great cover and work really well. However there is one flaw that I noticed. I bought this to help insulate my Icecoo VL45ProS when it gets very hot. And it does insulate well however the Velcro that comes with the cover for the lid should be a high heat adhesive because when it gets hot the adhesive does not hold well and starts to lift. It can be pushed back down but I would ICECO should be using a high heat adhesive for something like this that is supposed to insulate in high heat.
