The ICECO VL35ProS is a 37-quart (35-liter) single zone compressor fridge in a steel case. A Secop compressor holds anywhere from 0°F to 50°F, so it works as a fridge or a chest freezer, and ICECO adds app control so you can check the temperature and change settings from your phone. The lid opens from either side or lifts off completely, which helps when the fridge is tucked against a wall or a slide rail.
It is the compact size in the Pro range: at 28.1 x 15.9 x 15.7 inches it fits a van bench, a truck bed or a travel trailer pass-through, and the removable basket takes items up to 11 inches tall. Run it from the 12V or 24V vehicle supply on the road, then switch to the AC cord at a campsite or at home. DC sockets on both ends make cable routing easier. ICECO makes a matching insulated cover for the VL35ProS and a mounting slide that fits it.

Shop AllMy husband and I LOVE our VL35ProS. Its sleek, cools quickly, it’s so convenient on road trips or even just on trips back home from the grocery store. It gives us flexibility we need if more than one errand is needed after grocery trips. The app is also amazing to control it while en route or at the camp site.

Perfect size, color, and quality components. However, it arrived with a little dent in the front and the best the support team could do was send a care package with stuff I didn’t need. I expected a little more support in my situation from reading all the amazing reviews. Still a solid product and understand things happen in life.

I have had many coolers in the past including Dometic and Iceco. Your new cooler exteriors have greatly improved. Love the pro models lid that opens both ways. Well done!

Bought this for an extended road trip through Newfoundland. Big step up from sloshing, ice filled coolers. Got an Anker Solix 300 to keep it company and relieve pressure from the car battery and the combo works great. Wish the shelf inside that makes room for the compressor were a bit smaller, but, so far, happy with this well built equipment

I've used it once and it was great. Jeep used more gas then without. Good purchase, I'd buy it again!

I'm loving this fridge! Draws hardly any power. Stays consistent temps. This replaced an older cheaper one that I was always fighting with. Well worth the money! And I love the green color too:)

The VL35ProS is the perfect size fridge/freezer! It fits everything I need for a week’s worth of work (drinks, meals, snacks, etc). It keeps everything nice and cold in this Florida heat. Pair it up with the insulated cover and it barely draws any power. This is my second Iceco purchase. We are highly impressed with our APL55 that purchasing from Iceco again was a no brainer. Thank you Iceco for producing a great product at a reasonable price! Best bang for your buck!

I bought this fridge for the back of my JKU for going overlanding and I absolutely love it. It’s easy to us, very efficient and holds all my food and drinks. It looks great, but my favorite feature is open from any side lid, makes it super easy to get to my food no matter what setup I’m using.

Bought the VL35pro for overlanding and off grid camping, and after my first long trip into the back country I learned this was not the fridge for me. First the efficiency is highly lacking. I conduct a backyard efficiency test on how well the fridge maintains temperature and it was surprisingly not very good. In 80F outside temps I started at 39F for the internal temperature on the VL35pro. After 30 minutes of no power the internal temperature rose to 59F. A 20 degree rise in just 30 minutes was extremely concerning. Basically cold air escapes the fridge fast. This is major problem if you’re stationary for a short while without power. A unit of this price should hold temperatures longer and not require consist power. Second issues is the lid. The lid doesn’t seal very well and if you enjoy rattling noises while you drive, then this is a good fridge. However if you want a good sealing lid that doesn’t rattle, then this is not the fridge for you. In the end this fridge would be good in a trailer with consistent power.

This thing uses power sparingly! Great efficiency after initial cooldown. Multi day trips off grid made way easier. Time will tell on durability, but so far so awesome!

So far so good! Love that the lid opens both ways. That was the reason I bought this one. It works perfect in the location I have it in.

I haven't had a chance to use the new one, next month it goes to Baja. My first fridge is still in great shape after several years and thousands of off road miles. Highly recommend Iceco.

Needed a freezer for camping on the road. As a freezer, it keeps things frozen. I have it plugged into a Rivian R1T. Depending on outside temp and unit temp, based on truck app it uses 3-5 kWh of battery per day. Less would be better, but with typical charging stops, it’s not critical. If we were off the grid for a week or more, I’d need to plan timing or consider adding solar panels, which are an option.

I have been looking for a cooler for long camping trips. I just returned from a 10 day camping trip and this worked better then even I thought. I even had to adjust the temperature up a little as I was starting to freeze my drinks. Best product I could have bought.

I was able to keep quite a bit of meat frozen for a camping bbq. Really great product

I've only used it twice since we've bought it, but it's been great so far. Barely uses any DC power on our powerbank after it gets cooled down. We use this for a "base camp" we have on our property, so we are able to pre-cool it before we bring it up, I think that probably helps conserve a lot of the initial power use. Can fit enough food for a night or two along with drinks and cold snacks for the kids. We have a family of 4, and I would say it's good for 2 days of food/drinks. For a single couple, probably could do a long weekend easy.

I put ice in it, didn’t know how to unscrew the drainin the bottom so I turned it upside down & still haven’t gotten it to work again

I purchased the VL35ProS and I can’t stress enough how much I love this unit. Going from a regular cooler to a freezer cooler was the best purchase I’ve made, keeps my drinks and food nice and cold.

EDIT: I have been in touch with the manufacturer regarding my challenges with the ICECO 37QT VL35ProS Single Zone Portable Fridge Freezer and we have come up some solutions so I want to amend the review. I was able to change the thermostat I was using for the testing as well as using redundancy by using a laser thermometer. The temp sensor in the fridge matched what the digital display was reading so it seems to be all good. The customer service has been fantastic. I have been putting mine through the test today and what I have found is 1. it uses way more energy than advertised. For these tests it is stationary in my room which is about 78ºF. There are 3 Nalgene bottles with water (everything in the fridge has been previously cooled down), a couple of protein drinks and a energy drink. I cooled the fridge down using AC for about 45 minutes. It didn't cool down in 15 minutes as advertised on 'max mode'. After that I hooked it up to a 12v source using a Ecoflow River Pro. Over the course of 7 hours I have opened it about 5 times with each time no longer than about 10 seconds. I had to check the temp inside...which leads me to my next gripe. The thermostat is way off! I tried using 'max' and 'eco' mode and when the fridge reached the set temp, I opened it and it was about 4 degrees off. For example, I had it set at 34º and when it said it reached that temp it was actually 38º at the bottom of the main part. The smaller deck was about 10 degrees warmer. I put a laser temp on the items in the fridge to verify and they were warmer than the ambient temp. There is no Bluetooth on this model for some reason which is really too bad considering the price. It is also pretty heavy for being only a 37qt model. Along with it using a lot more. Here is a link to the photos and video proof. https://photos.app.goo.gl/jvcZNMXeopbCXKWU6
