The Safe-T-Alert 35 Series surface-mount alarm detects both carbon monoxide and propane using MTI's patented dual-alarm design. It is the same long, narrow 6-inch shape as the Safe-T-Alert 30 Series propane detector fitted to RVs since 2001, with the same mounting, so it replaces an old LP-only alarm and adds CO protection in one swap. An alarm mute button silences it while you ventilate, and the rapid-recovery sensor resets or re-alarms if dangerous gas is still present.
It meets the RVIA requirements for CO and propane alarms that took effect on May 1, 2011, and runs on 12 V. It is built for the RV environment and suits Class A, B and C motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, truck and folding campers.
