Which MaxxAir fan fits my RV bathroom roof vent?

Short answer: Measure the hole first. Most RV bathroom vents sit in a standard 14" x 14" roof opening, and for that the MaxxFan Mini Plus (00-03801) is the drop-in 12V fan with an LED light and a built-in rain shield. If the hole is a small round 6.25" cutout, in the roof or a sidewall, the MaxxFan Dome (00-03812W) or Dome Plus with LED (00-03810W) is the fit.

The part number on an old bathroom fan is often worn off, so work from the opening instead. MaxxAir makes bathroom-size fans for two different holes, and they do not swap.

Step 1: measure the cutout

Take the interior garnish ring off and measure the hole through the roof.

Step 2: check the roof or wall thickness (Dome only)

The Dome and Dome Plus are designed for a 1" roof. Thicker roofs and walls need an extension; MaxxAir makes them up to 6". The 14" x 14" models mount like any standard roof vent.

Which one for a bathroom

Shower steam and odor: a powered exhaust fan. The Mini Plus is the simplest swap into a 14" x 14" hole because it replaces the whole vent and adds a light.
More airflow than a 6" fan: the hole is already a standard 14" x 14", so a full-size MaxxFan such as the 4-speed exhaust MaxxFan (00A04301K) also drops in. That is a bigger fan than most bathrooms need, but it suits a wet bath used for drying gear.
No 12V at the vent: the non-powered Mini vent still lets steam out and keeps rain out, open or closed.

If the hole is neither size
