Which Bilstein shocks fit a Monaco Roadmaster chassis?

Answered by RV Parts Giant · Upland, CA · October 5, 2026

Short answer: It depends on the Roadmaster chassis code. Bilstein lists 24-187312 front and rear for Beaver, Dynasty and Executive coaches on the RR10R/RR10S and S-Series chassis, 24-186605 front with 24-186612 for the 2004-2014 Diplomat and Holiday Rambler Endeavor, 24-186582 front and 24-186599 rear for the Knight, Cayman and Ambassador, and 24-187138 front with 24-187145 rear for 2008-2011 coaches.

Monaco built its own Roadmaster chassis under Monaco and Holiday Rambler diesel pushers, and Bilstein lists its B6 shocks by coach model and chassis code. Find your chassis code (RR8R, RR8S, RR10R, RR10S, S-Series) on the chassis data plate or build sheet first.

Shocks by coach and chassis

Coach / chassis (Bilstein's application data) Front Rear
Beaver, Dynasty, Executive, Signature on RR10R, RR10S and S-Series 24-187312 24-187312
Diplomat and Holiday Rambler Endeavor 2004-2014 (RR8R, RR10R, RR10S) 24-186605 24-186612
Knight, Cayman and Holiday Rambler Ambassador/Neptune 2002-2014 (R4R, RR4R) 24-186582 24-186599
Dynasty, Executive, Beaver and HR Navigator 2008-2011 (R and S series) 24-187138 24-187145
RR8S chassis 1990-2014 (Diplomat, Camelot, Windsor) 24-187305 24-187305

Where the same part is listed front and rear, Bilstein uses one shock for every position on that chassis. Several of these lists overlap by year, so match both the coach model and the chassis code; if they point to different rows, send us the VIN and we will confirm with Bilstein.

How many to order

These coaches often use more than one shock per corner. Owners of S-Series Dynasty coaches on the forums report ten shocks in total: four on the front axle, four on the drive axle and two on the tag axle. Count yours before ordering; we sell every part above singly so you can match the count exactly.

You can also pick Monaco and your coach in the Bilstein Shock Fitment Finder.
