Which LiTime 100Ah battery fits a Group 24, 27 or 31 battery box?

Answered by RV Parts Giant · Upland, CA · October 10, 2026

Short answer: LiTime makes its 12V 100Ah in three case sizes, so match the battery to the box: the Group 24 Bluetooth for a Group 24 tray, the Group 27 Bluetooth for a Group 27 compartment and the Group 31 for a Group 31 box. All three store about 1,200 to 1,280Wh; the case size changes fit, not capacity.

Match the case to the tray

Group numbers describe a battery's case, not its capacity. LiTime builds the same 12V 100Ah lithium battery in several cases so it drops into the tray an RV already has.

LiTime battery Case Size (in) Weight Energy
12V 100Ah Group 24 Bluetooth Group 24 10.24 x 6.61 x 8.30 22.16 lb 1,280Wh
12V 100Ah Group 27 Bluetooth Group 27 not stated by LiTime not stated 1,200Wh usable
12V 100Ah Group 31 Group 31 13 x 6.77 x 8.43 24.25 lb 1,280Wh
12V 100Ah Xtra-Mini Bluetooth Group 22NF 9.02 x 5.43 x 8.19 19.13 lb 1,280Wh

The differences besides size

  • Group 24 and Group 27 both have Bluetooth monitoring through the LiTime app and a low-temperature charge cut-off. LiTime lists the Brinkley Z 2900, Four Winds 22E and Forest River Forester as RVs with Group 27 compartments.
  • Group 31 is the plain version, without Bluetooth. If you want a state-of-charge reading, add a shunt monitor.
  • Xtra-Mini is for when nothing standard fits: LiTime says it can be mounted on its front, side or bottom.

Orientation rules

LiTime says not to mount the Group 27 battery with its top or back side down. Measure the inside of the tray and the height to the lid, and leave room for the cable lugs.

Want more than 100Ah in a Group 31 box?

LiTime's 12V 165Ah uses the same Group 31 footprint (13 x 6.77 x 8.5 in) with a 165A BMS and 2,112Wh, which is the most energy you can put in that tray from LiTime.
