The Ionic 12V 40Ah S9 is a Group 25 LiFePO4 marine cranking battery for center console and offshore boats. It delivers 1,400 cranking amps and 1,000 CCA, and Ionic rates it for engines from 250hp to 450hp, plus smaller engines. It has threaded 3/8-16 terminals and an IP56 water rating.
Bluetooth shows battery status and charge left on your phone, the BMS handles cell balancing, voltage and short-circuit protection with terminal cut-off and recovery, and Emergency Start reserves 25% of capacity for a restart. It weighs 15.1 lb.
