The Ionic 48V 50Ah is a GC2-format lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery that Ionic designed as a drop-in replacement for the lead-acid batteries in most 48V golf carts, including high-performance aftermarket carts. One battery delivers 120A continuous and 350A peak (3s), and Ionic says a single unit gives enough range for a full day on the course.
It is a parallel-only battery: add more units in parallel to extend range and current, and Ionic recommends two or three for hilly terrain or heavy loads. It weighs 57.3 lb in an IP65 metal case with M8 terminals, and Bluetooth shows charge status on your phone.
