The REDARC BCDC1212T is a DC-DC charger that mounts in the trailer, typically in the nose cone, and charges the trailer battery from the auxiliary power circuit of the trailer plug while you tow. It suits dump trailers, liftgates, boat trailers and trailers running winches or hydraulic pumps, and it protects the truck's start battery from being run down.
It runs from 12V or 24V tow vehicles, limits input to 12A, and gives a 3-stage charge for lead acid, calcium, gel, AGM or LiFePO4 batteries. It comes pre-wired with a harness and is sealed against dust and water.
