The REDARC Smart Start SBI12-LLD is a microprocessor-controlled load disconnect isolator for lithium (LiFePO4) auxiliary batteries. It turns off connected loads once the battery is discharged too far, keeping it above the level where the battery's own protection circuit would shut it down, which would stop many chargers from recharging it.
When the battery recovers to a suitable level, the SBI12-LLD restores power to the loads. Spike protection guards the unit and stops solenoid coil spikes from reaching vehicle equipment.
